eva tried not to overwork herself too often, but when she got a call for help, she tended to answer for most people she cared for. when one of her old photography professors at harding called her and asked her to be a lab aide this semester, she couldn't help but to say yes. it was nice side money, and really it wasn't much besides sitting in the photo lab after class for a few hours every other day. she could get some of her own work done while there, so it was a win/win to her. since it was the first day, she showed up a bit early, not too long before the actual class was going to end. this class in particular was a more advanced one; there was no surprise that the students were already working when she got there. what was a surprise to her that she saw harlem in the class as well. of course she knew he was back in school, but she didn't know his schedule. she sat down at the computer next to him, a small smile on her face as she tapped his shoulder. "harleeem,"
she said as she sat down. "what are the odds, huh?"
