It wasn't even that he had bad experiences talking about it as much as it was a such a weird and bad thing to tell people. He just wasn't one of those amputees who was proud of his prosthetic. "Can you see it?"
he repeated, looking at her in confusion. Why would she want to see it. "Um..."
he looked over his shoulder at the counter than at the door and finally to the back room. "Yeah, it's through that door by the cash registers."
he pointed to the door before heading in that direction, looking over at the front door just to make sure no one was coming in. There was a camera in the back, he would know if anyone came in. Also why was he doing this? Why was he showing her?
