She absolutely needed to calm down but she couldn't. Ryan got her so riled up. It wasn't hard to get her angry, she was kind of notorious for that, and he knew that their relationship was less than ideal but for some reason she had this idea in her head that tonight would be good. That they could just have a really nice night because it was prom and they were in love and he had worn a tie to match her dress because he cared about her. She groaned loudly in frustration and took a step back, pressing her hands to her face. She kind of wanted to cry and she kind of wanted to punch him in the face. "I don't want to feel that way Ryan."
she said as she dropped her arms, looking at him with misty eyes. "It's not fair. You always get so upset with me and act like I treat you like shit and that's not fair."
She didn't judge him. She tried not to preach to him. She obviously wanted him to be better but she didn't try to change him, not really. She didn't think she asked much in return from him. Just don't get sloppy drunk at prom, that was all she wanted but instead he called her friends sluts and got her so upset she was close to tears.
