Born and raised in Ashwick Valley and he is the third youngest of nine, four of which were adopted by his parents. Jeremy grew up with nothing but brothers, having three older brothers and one younger one. His mother really wanted a daughter but she did not want to conceive another baby and it be another boy. She already had five boys so she discussed adoption with her husband and then with her boys. She wanted to adopt a daughter and give someone a home and loving family that they didn't have due to their forced upon circumstances. This first adoption then led to another three adoption all of which were girls. It was weird having sisters in the house since Jeremy had only grown up with his brothers. The house was rough and rowdy and when they boys got their first things had to change regarding her. They had to be respectful of her space and respect her as a young lady. They really had to showcase their manners now. It was an adjustment period for everyone. Growing up Jeremy was always a quiet, shy and soft spoken boy and stayed to himself a lot, so the adjustment period wasn't all that hard for him. He actually liked having sisters in the house. It was a nice change to say the least. They taught him things that nobody could have taught him and he was very appreciative of his sisters for the life lessons. Still he was pretty reserved, he engrossed himself in his hobbies such as sports, singing and playing the guitar, he even enjoyed acting during his drama classes. These hobbies were the only things that could bring him out of his shell so everyone around him encouraged him to keep up with them.
He was never the kind of boy that would go up to girls that he had crushes on and tell them that he liked them and wanted to date them. He was too afraid of rejection and he always felt that the girls that he did like were way out of his league. He was very insecure when it came to girls that he was into. The first girl he was able to approach like that was when he was a junior in high school and it was during the winter break going into 2014 when he actually go the nerve to step to one of his crushes. Her name was Cassidy Maverick and every time he got around her he would turn into a mumbling and stuttering fool. It was like he couldn't get his mouth to move as quickly as his mind. It was awful for him. Anyways he was in the mall one day and he saw her and decided to approach her. It was nerve racking for him but once they actually got to talking he wasn't so nervous anymore. In fact the longer he talked the more he got irritated and angry. He wanted to impress her but he felt like he completely made himself look like a lame ass dude. But despite his own personal view on how things turned out in her view of him, they continued to communicate and very slowly built a friendship.
However Jeremy really didn't like the one person that Cassidy hung out with the most and that was Jacques Cooper. Jacques was dating one of Jeremy's closest friends, Leilani Porter, and Jeremy hated the way the guy treated her. He really treated her like trash in his eyes but there wasn't anything he could do about it except try to encourage Leilani to leave and to make sure he kept reminding her of her worth. That she didn't deserve to be treated the way he did. Of course Jeremy didn't ever she the good times and was only aware of those bad moments but it left and terrible taste in his mouth because he was very protective over his friends and Leilani was one of his closest of friends. This feud he had with Jacques really took it's toll on Jeremy. After Jeremy found that he had laid hands on Leilani that was enough to push Jeremy over the edge but he refrained from going to Jacques and handling it himself. That lasted until one night on twitter and he was having words with Jacques. It escalated too quickly and Jeremy took his keys and drove over to the guy's house. This was definitely not something that Jeremy would normally do, this was completely out of his character up until this day. Something inside of him snapped as he was being egged on. Was it because he was fiercely protected of his friend or had it always been inside of him and just needed the right kind of person to bring it out in him?
After arriving at Jacques house, they got into a physical altercation that resulted in Jacques stabbing Jeremy in the stomach with a glass shard. It enraged Jeremy that this guy got the best of him and it really threw Jeremy down a dark path for a couple of months. Jeremy had rage and anger building up inside of him and he was struggling to release it. It wasn't until he ran into Jacques again at the gym where he really felt a relief. He caught Jacques off guard and beat the crap out of him with a baseball bat. It seemed to be the start of a pattern with Jeremy now with letting his anger issues get the best of him. Jeremy knew that he had to get it under control and therefore he enrolled himself into boxing classes to help let out his frustrations and anger. He had to work through his developing anger problems before he completely lost control, more so than he already had.
Not only did he have to get his anger under control but he also had to control his feelings. His built up rage started to play a serious role in his friendships and relationships with his peers. He couldn't get along with Cassidy when they would hang out and then he was completely jealous of the fact that his best friend, Raquel Simmons, had a boyfriend because he wanted to spend more time with her. However romantic feelings were playing at part in the issues with Raquel as well and it really caused a rift between the two of them. The more they argued the more Jeremy pulled back from her. However, despite the declining relationship with Raquel, Jeremy was able to keep a solid friendship going with another one of his friends, Gabriella Carter.
Jeremy and Gabby were close friends who always played basketball together. They were on the school's basketball team so they did a lot of traveling together during the season with the teams. They hung out a lot and they knew each other pretty well. Jeremy always enjoyed being around her and they always had a lot of fun together. The more time they spent with each other the more Jeremy felt himself developing feelings for her. He never knew if they were mutual feelings until Jeremy planned a big spring break vacation to Cancun, Mexico. Jeremy invited a bunch a people and each person had the option of inviting a plus one. Some took that option and others didn't. On his list of people he invited it included Gabby, Raquel and Cassidy among his other friends. This might have seemed like a disaster of a choice with Jeremy current history with Raquel and Cassidy but it actually turned out really well.
Jeremy and Raquel made up and actually had a conversation without arguing for once. They also ended up having sex with one another. He didn't know what had changed with her but he wasn't going to complain about it at all. If this was what she wanted to do then he was going to oblige her. On this trip he also let bygones be bygones with Jacques. Jacques was invited as Cassidy's plus one and Jeremy and Jacques actually had a chance to chat for a little bit and peace was made. It was really like closing a chapter in Jeremy's life and in a long while he was at peace internally. This trip had been really good for him all the way around. He even had a chance to really have a serious conversation with Gabby abut how he felt about her and in turn she revealed that she had felt the same way about him and they left Cancun as a couple. However he and Gabby only lasted a few months before she broke up with him to get back with an ex boyfriend of hers which was her first love. Jeremy was fucked up about it and he was angry but there was nothing that he could do about it because he couldn't force her to stay in a relationship with him. So they went their separate ways.
After his break up with Gabby, Jeremy started spending a lot of time with Cassidy. They basically spent that entire summer together and because really close with one another. They spent the summer in New York as Cassidy was doing her modeling thing and they really became close friends. They stayed strictly platonic with each other and he helped her through a rough time when she had to deal with the miscarriage of her first child. He really felt bad that she had to go through that but he was glad that he was there to help her through it and take care of her when she needed him to. When they came back to Ashwick Valley their friendship stayed in tact and it kept growing. Also with the return to Ashwick came a new line that he and Cassidy crossed and they were intimate with each other for the first time. Along with this came a new relationship that had blossomed between the two of them. They made each other happy and they wanted to see where things went between them.
Happy endings never last so it seems. Jeremy and Cassidy dated for nearly a year before the physical distance between the two of them started to weight heavily on Jeremy. Cassidy was always away on modeling jobs and Jeremy became lonely and felt like he was in a relationship by himself. Cassidy would be gone then come home for like a day or two and then she was gone again. He understood the fact that is what her job required but it really took a toll on him. So much so that he stepped out on their relationship and had sex with others. After the deed was done he felt completely guilt ridden at what he had done. He started to spend less and less time at home and even when Cassidy was home they would hardly spend any time together. Eventually Jeremy came clean with Cassidy and told her about his infidelity to her and that was the end of their relationship.
Jeremy was angry with her and he was even more angry with himself. He was disgusted with what he had did and he felt that he didn't deserve to be happy or to be with anyone, so he basically punished himself and buried himself in work and school. He ended up moving into an apartment with his best friend Leilani. She was a shoulder for him to lean on a bit when he was feeling down about himself and she listened to him when he needed to get things off of his chest and then he did the same for her. In the mist of all of this he tried to reach out to Cassidy and see if they could work things out between them but was only blindsided by the fact that Cassidy was now married to someone else. This really through him for a loop. She moved on so quickly like he had never meant anything to her and it really devastated him. He knew he only had himself to blame for all of this and it made him even sicker. Jeremy turned to drinking and smoking weed to escape his problems.
