Today is April 27, 2018, and one after the days dedicated to Transgenders, one of Gia's favorite days dedicated to the LGBTQ community. Today she along with countless of other students in America from kindergarten to twelfth grade and even at universities are taking a vow of silence today that could be summed up with why within a speaking card
(cause I don't wanna keep putting it) or two
actually. Today was her taking a stand for people wanting to silence her for years and for others who have been silenced too. She had gone all out with wearing one of the shirts she had ordered, a button, and of course, taping her mouth with some tape covering the mouth that reads Day of Silence
. Gia also carried with her tape and extra cards for anyone who would want to participate, it's never too late. She was hoping that her fellow club members and others who may have said that they'd participate would actually join her in her vow of silence until the time that they said they would break it if participating when the bell for the end of the day rings. So far things weren't entirely going to well with those who had something to say or whisper, but she wasn't about to let them break her silence, especially as she walked down the hall to her next class.
open to anyone student or teacher (maybe someone who wants their character to have a class with her or someone else taking the pledge- just an idea though, but seriously anyone can take)
