At 24, Orion [oh-ryan], named after the constellation, is an interesting individual, to say the least. Raised by paternal grandparents in less than luxurious living circumstances, he was never ashamed of the reality that surrounded him. From a young age, he was perceptive, understanding that this state he lived in was temporary. He never knew his mother and his father passed away from testicular cancer when O was 11. With the help of the numerous foster children running in and out of the Carmichael home, Orion learned to open up to the personalities opposing his. That mindset wasn't received by everyone the same. Some poked the bear until self-defense was the only option and then others wrote him off as the 'weird' kid always getting in trouble because he didn't like to sit still and listen for hours at a time. His grandmother nourished his vice by allowing him to be 'destructive' as his grandfather would say, as long as he figured out how to put it together.
As a teenager, he found himself getting into certain situations for being himself which is where his disdain for authority and structure came into effect. The first relationship he entered only reinforced the new found ideals. His girlfriend who had been 4 years his senior had been the one to introduce Orion and his friends to the mind-altering drugs and opening his mind to new experiences. He had never been a reader until then. The bad boy persona would follow him although a conversation with him would change the perspective of those who bestowed the title upon him.
When Orion entered college, he went into it with an 'open-relationship' as you can imagine didn't last very long. The idea was pitched by the same person who called it quits when he took the opportunity to test those boundaries more than she anticipated. The modern day Romeo, women gravitated towards the young intellectual for their own reasons. Since that relationship, Orion hasn't entertained a serious relationship. Post undergrad life includes a secured job at TechWorld, a mechanical engineering company. Although he enjoys the critical thinking he endures on a day-to-day basis, he reserves his right not to associate and assimilate completely, hence his move to Paineshart rather than living in the enterprising neighborhoods of his coworkers.
Knack to perceive and evaluate the world primarily through his feelings and intuition, and often rejects labels, preferring to see the world more objectively. Jimi Hendrix was deeply concerned about the state of the world, which he has great compassion and idealism for. He and Orion have a utopian personality and will spend their life trying to realize some aspect of the utopian dream, sacrificing money, time, and energy for a better world. Andy Warhol, like Orion, has a compelling sense of himself as a spiritual being who is searching and seeking the truth. He enjoys a fine mind and is an analytical thinker, capable of great concentration and theoretical insight. Andy Warhol enjoys his solitude and prefers to work alone.
